Mission
FAMM short-term mission trips are designed to come alongside our indigenous leaders in a way that empowers their future ministry. On the field, our short-term teams execute a proven strategy to encourage local believers and reap an evangelistic harvest with them. The work these teams do overseas also creates a laboratory effect that equips them to make disciples even when they return home.

FAMM offers two types of mission trips:
COMPASSION KIT TRIP
Teams are divided into groups of three and partnered with a local pastor and translator. Each of these smaller teams spend the day visiting families in their homes, sowing prayer, love, and truth as they go. In the evenings, the teams facilitate Compassion Kit Parties in unreached villages where they will share stories, pray for needs, and distribute hygiene boxes we call Compassion Kits.

CHURCH PLANTING TRIP
Teams help story groups transition into biblical churches using FAMM’s Church Planting handbook. Participants work alongside FAMM staff with existing story groups to encourage the local believers, establish them in the faith, launch a local church, and reap an evangelistic harvest.
“FAMM has allowed us to take teams into the 1040 Window in an extraordinary way. The mission trips with FAMM are part of the ongoing movement of God, which means work is being done before you arrive and work continues after you leave. FAMM’s commitment to facilitating the ongoing work and enabling our church to be involved has made them a valuable partner.”
